A Garden at Home

Throughout history, the botanical world has captivated humankind, sparking attempts to study, catalogue, and cultivate it—efforts that frequently yielded works of remarkable beauty. Our Trellis & Herbier thematic collection unites designs inspired by Renaissance Italian herbarium manuscripts and the refined traditions of French garden architecture. Drawing on this rich history, we now introduce a collection of custom architectural Decors, Ceilings, Repeat Designs, and Fabrics.

French Trellis & Herbier

At the heart of the collection is our fully custom French Trellis Herbier (AR409). Uniting our French Trellis Architectural (AR406) with our Renaissance Herbier. Each of these exists individually within our collection, and, united, create a singular decorative statement. Every detail is customizable: the background color of the Herbier, the scale of the plants, and the hue of the trellis itself.

To complement this design, we also offer two coordinated ceilings: the French Trellis Sky Ceiling (CE419S) and the French Trellis Covered Ceiling (CE419C). Both the trellis architecture and ceilings can be developed with a choice of Decors or refined plain backgrounds.

Nature Tamed

From our 2022 collection, appeared in the Original colorway, the designs have been translated into Blue and White to fit perfectly in this new collection while enabling you to choose from what are now classics from our collection.

Our trellis patterns are likewise offered as classic Repeat Wallpapers: French Trellis Checks (RW419) and French Trellis Diamonds (RW420). Each can be ordered with borders (P02) or without (P01) and may be produced in more than 90 background colors through our Color+ option.

The Herbier also appears as a pure Repeat Design — a collection of plants rendered with great detail by a 16th-century Italian botanist and carefully repainted in our studio. The result is a fresh and decorative pattern, available both as wallpaper (RW417) and as fabric (RF417) in soft linen.

Finally, we present our signature design, the Renaissance Herbier (SC146). Here, 36 plants from the same 16th-century Herbier are set against a faux parchment ground, framed, and composed into an elegant architectural Decor. It is available in both standard and custom options.
