Syrian Glass in Kufic frame n°2 · 50 x60cm | 20"x 24" |
These beautiful glass pieces are 9th Cent. from
the Eastern Mediterranean. They are painted with exceptional realism including
the iridescence which characterises such old glass. The border is Armenian
of the same period. Kufic calligraphy was influenced by this style. There
are four panels in this series.
